SEAM
A seam is where two things become one thing.
I photograph the join.
Manifesto
I spent years learning where one track ends and the next begins — the exact frame a room changes its mind. Photography is the same job with the sound turned off.
- 01A set is a seam. One track into the next, and the room follows.
- 02An artist is a seam. Who they were, joined to who they are becoming.
- 03A garment is a seam. Literally — cloth turned into shape by a line.
Rooms
Emotion, at volume. Shot from inside the crowd, never above it — the hands, the held breath before a drop, the second somebody stops performing and just is there.

Becoming
The long middle of an artist's life — the part nobody photographs. Studio floors, third takes, the walk back to the car. Documentary pace, over months rather than an afternoon.

“Nobody is interesting at the moment they succeed. They're interesting for the four years before it.”

Thread
Street first, fabric always. Clothes photographed where they actually live — on a body, in weather, moving. Close enough to read the weave, far enough to read the walk.
A seam is the designer's handwriting. Shoot it close enough and you can tell who made the thing before you ever read the label.
